One for Youth Regional Committees
Supporting the entrepreneurial spirit in young people is particularly important to the Bank. The Committees are therefore on the lookout for promising not-for-profit organizations, schools, conferences, awareness days, educational and extra-curricular programs, science fairs, etc. We are seeking inspiring, comprehensive projects that emphasize leadership, creativity and problem-solving skills. Now more than ever, with our support, young people in Canada have the help they need to develop their sense of accountability, ambition, cooperative skills and passion for business. This initiative is in line with our mission of equipping young people with the tools and resources they need to succeed in the adult world and become tomorrow's leaders.
About One for Youth Regional Committees
Made up of local executives from National Bank, key members of the community, and a young person under the age of 25, the Regional Committees are an expression of the Bank's desire to strengthen ties with the local community by providing financial backing for projects that will help young people up to 25 years old achieve their full potential.
Committee members will be mandated to select inspiring youth initiatives that meet the program’s eligibility and selection criteria and are related to its three pillars: entrepreneurial spirit, education and health.
