And for those former employees who have to close their retirement plans, you can offer RRIFs (Registered Retirement Income Funds) and LIFs (Life Income Funds). The amounts that have accrued in the retirement plans are transferred to RRIFs or LIFs thereby lessening the tax impact of capital withdrawals.
