Invitation to members of the media to attend the National Bank Annual Meeting

National Bank of Canada is pleased to invite representatives of the media to its Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 9 a.m. at the Mount Royal Centre, 2200 Mansfield Street, Montreal.
Journalists who wish to attend are asked to go to the media check-in at the Foyer of the Auditorium before proceeding to the Auditorium on the level 1 for the meeting. Please note that use of photographic, recording or television equipment will not be allowed, except for a five-minute period before the meeting.
The International Room, located on level 3, will be set up for journalists, particularly those from the electronic media. Live audio and video feeds of all the proceedings will be available. Television journalists should bring the equipment needed to record a 75 ohm signal as well as cables complying with the Bank’s standards.
After the meeting, members of the Bank’s senior management will meet with the media in the International Room.
For media representatives outside Montreal, the press conference will be interactive and accessible via conference call. Simultaneous interpretation will be available. A media advisory will be released on Marketwire 15 minutes before the press conference begins.
